Mackenzie Price and Brian Holtz opened the doors in 2014 with a single Austin campus, where morning lessons came from AI tutors on a tablet, not a teacher at a whiteboard. The software adapts to each child in real time. Core academics that used to fill a school day are done in two hours. The adults in the building stopped being instructors and became guides.
