Alexis Ohanian

Alexis Ohanian cofounded Reddit at twenty two, sold it to Condé Nast, then watched it grow into one of the most visited websites on the planet. Most founders would have stayed in the operator seat forever. Ohanian left and became an investor instead, launching Seven Seven Six with a thesis nobody else in venture was following. His fund backed communities, not just companies. Ohanian had seen how Reddit's value came from users who built its content. He applied that pattern to investing, looking for startups where the product created a community and the community strengthened the product. He brought audience building skills that most venture capitalists simply did not have.
