The founder spent a decade building Google's ad algorithms and applied the same techniques outside Google's walled garden. The platform launched in 2013, serving mobile gaming advertisers. By 2023, Moloko expanded to e-commerce, streaming, and retail media. Revenue exceeded 400 million. The company reached profitability and was valued at over 2 billion. Growth came from mid-market advertisers who needed Google quality machine learning but could not build their own.
