Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the MoonReelz Kids app ("the app"), published by MoonReelz Pty Ltd ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the app, you (the parent or guardian agreeing on behalf of your household) accept these Terms. The app is intended to be set up and managed by a parent or guardian.

1. The service

MoonReelz Kids is an educational app where children watch short career-themed reels, answer quizzes, earn in-app "Moons" and screen-time rewards, and build a virtual world. We may update, improve, or change features over time.

2. Subscriptions, billing & free trial

MoonReelz Kids offers auto-renewable subscriptions:

Solo — A$4.99 / month (one child)
Family — A$14.99 / month (up to four children)

Each plan begins with a 30-day free trial for eligible new subscribers. The following standard terms apply:

Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
The subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price of the selected plan.
You can manage or cancel your subscription, and turn off auto-renew, in your Apple Account Settings after purchase.
If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
Only one free trial is available per Apple Account / device, across all plans.

3. In-app items & "Moons"

"Moons" and items earned or unlocked in the app have no real-world monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and are for use within the app only. They may be lost if an account is deleted.

4. Acceptable use

Use the app for its intended, personal, non-commercial purpose.
Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or misuse the app or its content.
Do not copy or redistribute the app's reels or content.

5. Accounts & parental responsibility

A parent or guardian is responsible for setting up the app, managing the PIN-protected Parents area, screen-time settings, the optional sharing feature, and any subscription. Keep your recovery email accurate so you can restore an account if needed.

6. Intellectual property

The app, its reels, characters, designs, and content are owned by MoonReelz Pty Ltd and protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for personal use.

7. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other non-excludable laws. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to resupplying the service or the amount you paid in the prior 12 months.

8. Termination

You may stop using the app and cancel any subscription at any time. We may suspend or end access if these Terms are breached.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Western Australia, Australia.

10. Privacy

Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
